Jonathan Hornby, an ArtCenter Film student and 21-year U.S. Army veteran, embodies that purpose. After retiring from military service, Jonathan made the bold decision to begin a new chapter as a filmmaker—using authentic, human-centered stories to bring overlooked experiences to life.

The scholarship helped bridge the gap between his GI Bill benefits and tuition, making an ArtCenter education possible.
