Julian Scaff

Julian Scaff is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of the Graduate Interaction Design program at ArtCenter College of Design. His areas of expertise include human-computer interaction, human factors and systems engineering, and futurecasting. Over the course of his career, Julian has worked as a designer at NASA/JPL and Idealab, designed exhibitions for MUMOK Vienna and the Natural History Museum of Rotterdam, designed future transportation and energy systems for Hitachi, and futurecast climate and mobility solutions for the Dutch and EU governments. He has taught at universities in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Julian is the co-founder and co-Executive Director of Turn Institute, a non-profit consultancy focused on the future of transportation.
